Thanks for registering World Tourism Exchange China (Haikou) 2019!
As the 2019 WTE China is approaching, following are some details that we hope will help you to prepare and to facilitate your arrival to Haikou.
I. Airport Pickups
Airport pickup services will be arranged for you by the WTE Conference Committee.

- Airport Pickup Information
At the arrival gates, you will find our service staff wearing Hainan-style clothes and holding greeting boards with the World Tourism Exchange China (Haikou) 2019 (WTE China 2019) logo prominently displayed. Please make yourself known to our staff there. Please find a picture of the greeting board as below for your reference.
Shuttle buses have been arranged for the WTE guests arriving on Oct. 20, 21 and 22. Our standard service hour is from 8:00am to 0:00am. If your flight arrival time is out of this time range, please contact the WTE Conference Committee in advance by Oct. 18. The current schedule is for one bus leaving every hour. There will be a lounge area exclusively for you to rest while waiting.
If you arrive in Haikou earlier than Oct. 20, you’ll need to get to the hotel by taxi by yourself. Here is the address of Haikou Marriott Hotel as below.

NOTE: For the guests from HU7282 arriving in Haikou at 01:30am on Oct. 21 (HU7282), airport pickup has already been arranged. And the guests on this flight may choose to join the Haikou pre-FAM at noon time.

II. Other Key Information for the WTE China 2019
1. Agenda
Please find attached the agenda of the WTE China 2019. The latest version will be updated on the official website of WTE China if there are any changes or amendments.（https://en.wte.wowtrips.com/agenda）
2. WTE Sessions Requiring Pre-registration
The following WTE sessions will be held between the hours of 09:00 and 12:00 on October 24, 2019. These sessions aim to build business connections between you and various travel agents and tour operators across China.
- WTE China Trade Meeting
- One-on-one meetings between international buyers and domestic sellers
If you are interested in attending any (or both) of these sessions, you are most welcome to pre-register onsite when signing up upon your arrival in Haikou.

- October 23, 09:00-12:00, WTE China All Delegates General Session

- October 24, 14:00-17:00, Product Release & Education Session
- October 24, 18:30-21:00, WTE China 2019 Closing Ceremony & Guiyang Tourism Presentation
4. Important Notes
4.1 Instant messaging during meetings
Wechat and email will be used to send all notification messages and meeting notices during the WTE China 2019. Please download and register Wechat in advance. You can visit the WTE FAQ for specific use tutorials. (https://en.wte.wowtrips.com/faq)
4.2 Dress Code
Business attire or business casual is required for all WTE official activities.
Casual wear is recommended during FAM trips.
4.3 Please bring your business cards as they will obviously be required for all the WTE activities.
4.4 The weather in Haikou and other FAM trip destinations
The WTE China 2019 and the pre-event FAM trip will be held in Haikou, Hainan. Haikou features a tropical climate with an average temperature of 73-89℉. Please bring your summer clothes for your stay in Haikou.
For other post-event FAM destinations (Changsha, Chengdu and Chongqing), the temperature at this time of year will range from 60 to 73℉, so we suggest you bring some autumn clothing.
4.5 If you are a travel agency or tour operator, please send us a brief introduction of your company and the products you are selling by email ([email protected]) so that we can recommend appropriate WTE sessions suitable for you to attend. Again, business cards will be essential.
